The shared 2016 RAM user guide covers 1500, 2500 and 3500 trucks. Some entries above are diesel, heavy-duty, fleet, or optional circuits and are not installed on every RAM 1500. The manual does not assign all numbers between F01 and F104; missing numbers are not necessarily physical empty cavities. Verify the lid chart and VIN, and replace only with the original specified rating. Source: Mopar 2016 user guide, pages 293–297.

Under-hood location

Open the hood and identify the power distribution centre near the battery. The factory chart lists cartridge fuses, micro fuses, relays and circuit breakers, with equipment-dependent entries.

How to use the chart

Match the cavity ID, rating and circuit description to the factory chart and the actual lid. If equipment differs, check the VIN and manual revision before replacing anything.

Finding the right fuse without guessing

Search this list for the circuit name, then use the number stamped in the power distribution centre cover to locate the cavity. Some positions change rating with equipment. If two rows share a cavity, select the row matching the actual factory configuration; never treat both as interchangeable.

Why there is no separate cabin fuse chart here

The 2016 RAM user guide identifies the under-hood power distribution centre and lists its cavities. Do not assume another model-year interior fuse-panel diagram applies. The diesel engine and special-service equipment can include additional power distribution points, which must be checked against the relevant build.

Before working on your vehicle

Use the correct model-year manual and current service information. Stop if instructions or safety precautions are unclear, and use a qualified technician for work you cannot verify.
